The association is active on the macro level, dealing with the regulatory bodies and statutory authorities on behalf of the food industry and all its branches as a whole, and the micro level, assisting individual manufacturers through the wide range of services offered by the association and the MAI.
The association’s board formulates general policies and plans and discusses ongoing and sectorial problems faced by manufacturers. Small, medium, and large-sized companies are represented on the board, which is elected at a general assembly.
