The Economics Division helps to define and advance the interests of manufacturers in regards to economic issues. It represents the MAI’s position in dealings with government officials and decision-makers to improve Israeli industry’s competitiveness and the business environment in which it operates.
The Division strives to instigate legislation favorable to industry, introduce and improve incentives, reserve funds and tools of government aid, to encourage investment, innovation, and increase efficiency in factories.
In addition, the Division conducts surveys, research, and international comparative studies to create a broad, up-to-date database of data relating to Israeli industry. The Division also offers consulting services to businesses seeking to upgrade and factories facing specific problems.
