Economics Division
The Economics Division formulates and works to advance the economic interests of the manufacturing members of the MAI while representing them in front of government officials and decision makers. The purpose of this division is to improve the competitiveness and business environment for the Israeli industry.
The Division advocates for the creation of legislation that is favorable to Israel's industry that introduces and improves incentives and provides reserve funds and tools of government aid to encourage investment, innovation, and increase efficiency in factories.
Additionally, the division conducts surveys, research, and international comparative studies to create a broad and up-to-date database of the Israeli industry. The division also offers consulting services to members seeking to upgrade their businesses and to factories facing specific problems.
