Established in 2020, the Forum is the representative body of Israel's cyber industry. It works with government to remove barriers to the sector's growth and to promote collaboration with local industry and access to international markets.
Activity
The Forum works on an ongoing basis with the Israel National Cyber Directorate and holds meetings, conferences and workshops to advance knowledge and innovation among its members. It currently brings together 40 Israeli cyber companies.
Current challenges
As cyberattacks grow — extortion and ransomware in particular — every organization must recognize that it is a potential target. Such attacks can disrupt production lines, expose sensitive information and even endanger lives, making comprehensive preparedness essential.
Cyber in Israel
Israel is a global leader in cyber, with a mature ecosystem of over 1,000 companies — from young startups to established firms — supported by academia and government and attracting billions of dollars in investment. Its distinctive strengths include talent from elite military technology units such as Unit 8200; innovation in areas like critical-infrastructure protection and real-time threat detection; active government programs to secure national infrastructure; a dynamic community linking entrepreneurs, investors and customers worldwide; and a strong international presence that positions Israel as a hub for advanced cybersecurity solutions.
