Women in Industry Forum

The Forum works across the industrial sector to advance women professionally into leadership and management roles, to increase their representation on executive teams and boards of directors, and to raise public awareness of the importance of promoting women at every level of management — through education, training and empowerment of women in industry.

The Forum serves as an intellectual, professional and social meeting point for women and managers from a wide range of fields, creating a professional platform for the exchange of ideas, mutual learning and business collaboration. Its activities include professional training programs designed to qualify women for the occupations industry is actively seeking, as well as continuing-education courses for working women, with an emphasis on practical tools for integration, advancement and career development in the workplace.

The Forum also encourages young women to choose science and technology studies with a view to building their professional future in industry — helping to widen the pipeline of skilled women entering the sector and closing the gender gap in technological and engineering roles.
